Gutters were literally rotting off the house!
We lived in a home off of Federal in Denver, built in the early 50's. The gutters were routinely clogged with leaves, but when we lived there we did our best to take care of it. As we bought a larger home due to a growing family, we decided to rent out the home instead of selling it.
Needless to say, the renters, and the management company were not as diligent as we were. Over 10 years, the rain gutters were not often cleaned by the renters and the management company "FORGOT".
Over time this resulted in the clogging, bending, and subsequent failure of the gutters, downspouts, and therefore, parts of the roof. By the time we as owners found the problem, the rot had penetrated all of the soffets and and there was extensive damage.
The landlord, after quickly firing the management company, called Replace the Gutters, and had the home ship shape in under 14 days.
